Gurpaul Singh has a unique combination of technology, business and management expertise. Gurpaul graduated from medical school in 1995 and received the class prize in Family Practice. After practicing as a physician for several years, he realized his passion for technology. He made the transition to management when he joined Karta Technologies in 1999 focusing on on-line healthcare training. As a member of the senior leadership team, he became a seasoned executive in the technology-based training industry, managing a team of 100 software and learning professionals with a diverse client base of government, defense and Fortune 500 companies. Gurpaul and his family exited Karta upon acquisition by NCI Technologies (NCIT).
As CEO of Asset Essentials, Gurpaul has successfully developed a culture that encourages teamwork while maintaining accountability. This family dynamic not only attracts the best talent in the industry, it retains it.
Gurpaul is active in the local community and serves on the Boards of the San Antonio Area Foundation and the San Antonio Medical Foundation. He previously served on the Mayor’s Leadership and Steering Committee and was Vice Chair of SA2020, an organization tasked with creating a roadmap for San Antonio's growth and aspirations as a community.
Fun Fact: In his spare time he enjoys traveling, classical Indian music, basketball (really just the Spurs!) and motorsports.
Over the past 11 years, Chad has been deeply involved in multifamily telecommunications as both an owner and consultant. As a Cum Laude graduate with a B.B.A. in Finance and a M.B.A. in General Business from Texas Tech University, he has focused on finding innovative ways to create additional income for multifamily owners and managers.
He began his career with the Lynd Company as a special projects manager and subsequently left to form Asset Essentials, concentrating on the negotiation and management of service provider agreements for multifamily properties.
Since 2011, Chad has been responsible for business development and client/provider relations. During this span, Asset Essentials has grown to represent over 100 companies comprising over 1.5 million units.
Fun Fact: Chad has never tried any vegetable besides spinach and green beans.
Tanya entered the telecommunications' industry after graduating with a Bachelor's of Science from St. Mary's University in 2002. While working full time at Time Warner Cable, she earned an M.B.A., graduating Cum Laude from Webster University. At TWC she worked as a Senior Account Manager focused on negotiating contract terms and access rights for Multifamily Owners. As one of the first employees at Asset Essentials, Tanya's background and knowledge of the telecom space proved pivotal to the growth and the development of the company. Tanya now holds the title of Vice President and is in charge of all day to day operations of the company including billing, auditing, account management and contract analysis.
Fun Fact: In her spare time Tanya loves to travel. She speaks Spanish, Italian, German, English and conversational Portuguese.
Jim brings Asset Essentials experience in both telecom and multifamily real estate industries. Jim began his career in Boston with a dotcom research firm that eventually moved him to London to help start their European expansion. Upon completion of his MBA, he joined Frost & Sullivan focusing research and consulting in the technology and telecom industries. In 2005, he moved into multifamily real estate with Lynd Residential Properties (LRP) as an Asset Manager. Jim managed a portfolio consisting of thirty-two properties in six metro areas totaling more than $500M in value at its peak. Prior to joining Asset Essentials, Jim was the Director of Asset Management for Fulton Property Group. Jim created the firm's asset management program and was responsible for managing the performance of all Fulton assets. At Asset Essentials, Jim oversees the accounting and operations of the firm. Outside of daily responsibilities, he focuses on continuing to improve the efficiency of AE’s processes through standardization, technology, and software integration. Jim received his M.B.A. from Baylor University and a B.A. in Psychology from Pomona College. Jim lives in San Antonio with his 6-year-old girl, Aubrey.
Fun Fact: An athlete his entire life, Jim won the NCAA Division III Scoring Title in 1997 while a member of the Pomona College football team. He is also in the NCAA Football Record Book for Season Points Per Game (20.8), which is #3 on the All-Division List (behind Barry Sanders and Carl Herakovich).
Daphnne was born and raised in San Antonio. After graduating from St. Mary’s University with a BA degree in Psychology, and MAA in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Daphnne worked at USAA gaining experience in insurance, process development, project management and finance. During her time there, she received an award for developing a simplified specialized process that was later implemented company wide. Daphnne joined Asset Essentials in 2019 as an Account Manager. She has excelled at developing relationships with clients and providers and is dedicated to delivering the best solutions for our clients.
Fun Fact: Daphnne studied abroad in London during her time at St. Mary’s, and is one of Manchester United’s biggest fans.
Lauren was born and raised in Port Aransas, TX. After graduating high school, she attended Paul Mitchel the School and obtained her cosmetology degree. While working as a full-time stylist, Lauren earned her Business Administration degree making the Dean’s List all four years and graduating Phi Theta Kappa from GRCC. Lauren and her husband moved to San Antonio, TX to be closer to family, the hot weather, and warm costal waters. She is highly focused and result-oriented, who successfully supports complex, deadline-drive operations, and has excelled and developing relationships with clients and providers. Lauren is dedicated to provide the best support and solutions to our clients.
Fun Fact: Lauren welcomed her first child in 2022 and enjoys spending time with him and watching him grow.
Paul brings over 13 years of multifamily experience to his role as Vice President of Business Development. After graduating from Washington State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology in 2006, Paul spent five years working with elite and recreational athletes as a performance coach and personal trainer, focused on improving their performance. In 2011, a personal training client persuaded him to transition to an account management role in the multifamily industry. In 2015 he joined ePremium Insurance Agency, LLC as Senior Sales Director where he collaborated with multifamily owners and operators to optimize operations and increase revenue. Fun Fact: Paul was once a contestant on The Price is Right. He resides in Whitefish, MT, where he indulges in various outdoor activities, including snowboarding, wakesurfing, golf, and hiking.
Jonathan was born in Houston, TX, before moving to San Antonio in 2016 to be closer to family. After high school, he attended ECPI University being interested in the complex world of Cyber Security before switching and attending WGU for a degree in Finance. He spent 2 years at PNC Bank before joining Asset Essentials in 2023, using his experience as a Senior Customer Service Representative to deliver above and beyond results to his clients. With a steadfast commitment to excellence and a drive for continuous improvement, he thrives in the face of adversity. He approaches every challenge as an opportunity for growth, leveraging his resilience to overcome obstacles and achieve success. Outside of the office, he enjoys watching the Packers and supporting his favorite soccer team, Chelsea.
Majo was born and raised in San Salvador, El Salvador, a tiny tropical country located in Central America. There she attended The American School of El Salvador where she learned Spanish, English, and French. At the age of 18 Majo moved to San Antonio, TX, to pursue her bachelor’s degree in St. Mary's University for Business Management: Entrepreneurship/Innovation and Business Analytics. Her journey as an international student allowed her to grow as person and become self-sufficient and goal driven. It was in St. Mary's University where Majo got her first job ever, assuming her role as the leading Spanish editor for the University's Newspaper. This allowed her to win multiple awards in university journalism. After her first job Majo had multiple other positions on campus, accepting any opportunity coming her way. One of her favorite experiences has been joining Alpha Phi sorority as she was able to create long lasting memories and friendships. In her free time Majo loves exercising, especially running long distances, she also enjoys cooking, singing, and traveling. Majo joined Asset Essentials as a fulltime employee after her graduation in May 2024.
Demi was born in Fredericksburg, Texas, and raised in San Antonio since the age of 2. After studying biology at Lakeview College, she pursued a career in the healthcare field and became a certified Dental Assistant. For the past 6 years, she has dedicated her expertise to the role of a Human Resources Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO where she thrives on building strong relationships and fostering a positive work environment. Outside of work, you can often find her outdoors, hiking, fishing, or hunting. Her greatest joy comes from spending time with her 5 children, which includes identical twins. Demi loves spending time with her family and friends on the weekends, especially at her childrens sporting events.
Mr. Ingegneri has more than 20 years of experience developing and implementing successful public/private partnership programs with over 100 municipal agencies throughout California. Mr. Ingegneri is an accomplished developer of customer relationship management procedures and quality assurance systems. Mr. Ingegneri has served in Public office as a member of the Garden Grove City Council and on other governmental agency bodies. A Masters Graduate of USC’s Marshall School of Business, Mr. Ingegneri focused on the Telecommunications Industry and the deployment of third generation wireless technology. Mr. Ingegneri was one of ten students out of 425 accepted to work on a specialized research program for USC’s Center for Telecommunications Management.
Fun Fact: As a freshman at the University of Arizona, he majored in Music Theory with an instrument focus of voice, Tony performed in the Tucson Metropolitan Opera’s performance of “Il Travatore” in the sword fighting scene chosen from the Fencing Club for the part.
Bill Lynch has over 22 years of experience in wireless communications development including more than seven years of experience representing cities, water districts, school districts, and private property owners. In addition to having an RF Engineering Certification (DoceoTech 2008), Bill has had extensive experience with all phases of the wireless communications facilities development cycle. Bill has worked as the Lead Zoning Manager under Bechtel Corp. and General Dynamics for the Cingular Wireless GSM overlay and Metrocom’s market launch for the metropolitan Washington DC area respectively. He is an expert in site selection, site design, lease negotiations, zoning, contracts, and project management.
Fun Fact: Bill has competed in the highest level of amateur yacht racing for more than 17 years as a permanent crewmember on “El Sueno”, a 50’ sailboat docked in San Diego.
Rick has been in the telecommunications industry for 20 years and has extensive experience in site acquisition, site development, site development management and has been highly successful in completing long term projects for the wireless carriers and tower companies. Some of his accomplishments include the first tower built inside Vandenberg Air Force Base in central California and five sites built on behalf of Cingular Wireless at UC Santa Barbara. His early achievements led to becoming a partner at Global Tower Partners where he managed new site builds for the firm on the west coast from 2005 to 2009. In 2010 Rick was part of the development team for the Clearwire project in Southern California. In 2011, Rick became a Site Development Manager for Mobilitie and was sent to Latin America to oversee a tower build consisting of hundreds of sites.
Fun Fact: In 1991, the Cal State Northridge Chamber Singers (16 singers of which Rick was one of 4 tenors) took 1st place in an International Choral Competition in Estonia where they beat out Russian, German, Italian and many other Chamber choirs from around the world.
Jacob Christman studied Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for 4 years before enlisting in the United States Army, where he served 4 years as a Combat Engineer before ETSing with an Honorable Discharge. Jacob moved to Southern California in 2022 after attending the University of Texas at San Antonio while working as the Regional Vice President for ATS Communications in San Antonio, Texas. Jacob now uses his experience from the military to help build successful relationships for our clients.
Fun Fact: While at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Jacob pursued a Minor in Audio Technology. In his free time, Jacob is a Sound Engineer who enjoys collecting and sampling vinyl records, as well as producing music.
